Another sunny Saturday morning and another drive through the Sussex countryside ! This time to Warden Park School, Cuckfield. We were there quite early, as I was helping on Meet & Greet. Good thing we were too as we seemed to be having technical issues with the computers.....

We ended up with only one in use today, instead of two, it looks like the master control unit failed. It was a sunny morning, so folks weren't bothered particularly.

We had some newcomers too, which was good, a couple of whom were at the Hawth and enjoyed it so much, were there again today  Steve & Nick had planned some really good courses, the Orange & Sprints were over 2 maps (side by side) for clarity as it was quite a small but interesting area. There was fine navigation required around the buildings as well as some longer open legs.

As I was helping, I was one of the last starters, so there weren't as many out which was nice as I didn't feel I was just following anyone else round. I felt good, although could do with being fitter so I can run faster.. My navigation was pretty good and I don't think I lost too much time faffing with deciding my route choices. Some of it though really did make me think, was I going the right/quickest way ? Especially the controls in amongst the buildings...

All in all a very good morning. I was 36th of 66, just awaiting the points update now !

UPDATE: Not so good today, but still 997 points and am still 2nd behind Anna ! There are possibly 2 events she won't be at of the 7, so if I do go to both, I may get some good points.... best three scores to count overall.
