Well, Jennie's getting married in October, so her friends arranged her Hen Do over two dates - different people invited to each bit, although some were invited to both, like Anna and myself !

Part one was a meal out in Brighton one Friday night at the China Garden, on the seafront, followed by a nightclub. Anna and I travelled down on the train together as we weren't planning on going clubbing anyway (last train back from Brighton is at 23.37). There were eight of us for the meal, which was really nice. It was good fun to meet some of Jennie's other friends. We were taking our time eating and talking for ages... We all left and walked along the seafront together, leaving the others at the Club and Anna & I got the train home again.

Part two was a Spa Day at a hotel in Midhurst. It was a lovely sunny morning as I drove myself over. A different group of girls at this one - we had access to the gym, the pool, the whirlpool, steam room & sauna for the day and lunch was included too. We started off by the pool, in the pool, in the whirlpool etc just relaxing and talking again ! We had a lovely lunch at 12.30, one course was included, if we had starters or deserts they were extra. We took ages over lunch and saw a bridal party arrive for a wedding.

After lunch we all had spa treatments booked in - either a massage, facial, pedicure or manicure. There were three treatment rooms, so the rest of us sat by the pool again whilst waiting for our turn. It was all very civilised and relaxing. I had a manicure booked in, which they did at the end of the day, so we didn't jump back in the pool and spoil it ! It was a very lovely day.
