After running this morning, we ran home and got cleaned up and changed ready to go to Jennie & Ashley's wedding !

The wedding itself was held at St Mary's, Walburton (near Fontwell) and we found Anna & Peter & Jan when we arrived, all looking very smart and so different to how we look orienteering ! It wasn't the warmest afternoon, but it was quite warm in the church. It was a lovely little church, where Mike G (another orienteer) sings in the choir. Jennie was late arriving (not much) but she looked stunning ! It was a lovely ceremony and by the time we got outside again, the sun was just about out too ! The usual photos were taken outside the church then we all moved to the reception.

The reception was held in a barn near Kirdford - loads of parking and it was lovely. When we arrived we had drinks and canapes and were outside, which wasn't the warmest ! Luckily they also had some patio heaters, which we all gathered around ! When dinner was ready, we all joined the line to be received by Ashley & Jennie, the parents, the bridesmaid and the best man. There wasn't much room in the barn, once all the tables were in, but it was cosy !

The meal was lovely, the wine very nice and the speeches were really good ! Ashley made his, all in verse. After, there was a live band and lots of dancing ! Ashley & Jennie left about 10.45, we left soon after due to the CSC Final tomorrow and a very early start from Crawley.
